About The Position

Imperial Cleaning is hiring a Cleaner for a day-shift role serving Lower Manhattan and Governors Island. The role involves cleaning buildings and facilities, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, break rooms, and kitchenettes; replenishing supplies; and handling approved customer requests. Cleaners are also expected to identify and report possible repairs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum, and clean surfaces in buildings and facilities.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other items in restrooms, break rooms, and/or kitchenettes.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.
• Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
• Wipe down walls, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, and baseboards.
• Handle additional approved special requests from customers.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
