About The Position

Imperial Cleaning is hiring a Cleaner for a day-shift role at Governors Island in New York. The cleaner maintains buildings and facilities by sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, and disinfecting fixtures and furnishings in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchenettes. Duties also include replenishing supplies, removing trash and recyclables, wiping walls and woodwork, handling approved customer requests, and reporting possible repairs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors, vacuum, and clean surfaces.
Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, and microwaves in restrooms, break rooms, and/or kitchenettes.
Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchens.
Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
Wipe down walls, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, and baseboards.
Handle additional approved special requests from customers.
Identify and report possible repairs.
