About The Position

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will provide commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations, focusing on standard custodial and janitorial tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. You will work with other employees, follow direction from cleaning leads and supervisors, maintain a clean work area, and communicate professionally with coworkers, managers, and customers. The role also supports customer satisfaction, workplace safety, and completion of shift punch-list items.

Requirements

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Be able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
• Be able to climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and edge floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows.
• Empty trash and transport it to the proper disposal area.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, including using proper personal protective equipment.
• Perform assignments as part of a team and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and rules, and take direction from supervisors.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support the shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and support customer service and satisfaction.
• Coordinate activities with internal departments and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
