This is a full-time position for a Cleaner Heavy Duty Spec Steward at Harrah's SoCal. The role involves deep cleaning of all back-of-house food department areas and equipment to meet health department sanitation standards. Requirements
- Six months of kitchen worker experience is required.
- Must be able to understand and speak English.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Local Health Department Sanitation Certificate or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Degrease, clean, and polish hoods.
- Clean all walls and doors. Clean grease buildup behind all equipment.
- Clean and degrease all pipes.
- Polish all refrigerator exteriors.
- Clean and polish s/s tables, counters, shelves, steam tables, and hand sinks.
- Clean and degrease grills, stoves, fryers, broilers, burners, ovens, flat tops, and all areas.
- Clean all vents and air conditioning registers.
- Clean and degrease all rubber mats, remove all trash, wash trash cans, and replace liners.
- Sweep floors to remove any grease or substance.
- Scrub floors with degreaser.
- Machine clean kitchen floors.
- Clean drains and pour enzyme.
- Comply with work care standards and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
