About The Position
This role involves deep cleaning of all Food Department back of the house areas/equipments within levels of sanitation in accordance with Health Department. The above is a minimal description of duties and responsibilities. Other work requirements may be necessary and assigned as the business needs evolve or change. Requirements
- Six months experience of kitchen worker is required.
- Must be able to understand and speak English.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Sanitation Certificate from local health department or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Degrease, clean and polish hoods.
- Clean all walls and doors. Cleans grease buildup behind all equipment.
- Clean and degrease all pipes.
- Polish all exteriors of refrigerators.
- Clean and polish s/s tables, counters, shelves, steam tables and hand sinks.
- Clean and degrease grills, stoves, fryers, broilers, burners, ovens, flat tops and all areas.
- Cleans all vents and air conditioning registers.
- Clean and degrease all rubber matting remove all trash, wash trash cans and replace liners.
- Sweeping floors to remove any rubber or substance.
- Scrubbing floors with degreaser.
- Machine scrubbing kitchen floors.
- Clean drains and pour enzyme.
- Complies with the standards of care of the job and adheres to the regulatory, departmental and company policies.
