About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the casino in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) areas. Responsibilities include a wide range of cleaning tasks, responding to service calls, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests and team members. The position requires adherence to company policies, proper use of chemicals, and effective communication.

Requirements

Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino guests.
Desire and willingness to learn.
Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.
Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Ability to operate powered equipment, including riding floor machines.
Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
Gaming license/registration as required by the Virginia Lottery.

Responsibilities

Respond to service calls.
Communicate responsibly and effectively by radio to answer and make service calls.
Work outside of assigned area if needed to complete tasks.
Display pride in work, identify needs, and make suggestions for improvement.
Perform dry and wet mopping of surfaces.
Perform high and low dusting.
Perform vacuuming.
Perform scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing of floors.
Perform carpet cleaning/extraction.
Clean walls, lights, vents, elevators, and escalators.
Perform polishing.
Remove gum from surfaces.
Perform power washing.
Clean windows.
Respond to and clean biohazard calls.
Clean mirrors, doors, office areas, public areas, and break areas.
Set up and take down stanchions.
Perform trash removal and clean trash cans.
Clean the base of slot machines.
Perform furniture cleaning.
Complete all other duties as assigned to maintain the cleanliness of the casino in FOH and BOH.
Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
Perform all job duties in the safest possible manner.
Immediately notify the supervisor and complete an accident report if an accident/incident occurs.
Follow Company, department, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Proper use of chemicals, including dispensing, labeling, and following chemical guidelines.
Communicate in a respectful, appropriate, courteous, and professional manner with guests and team members.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
