About The Position

STS Aerospace in Laconia, New Hampshire, is seeking a Clean Room Trainee responsible for the daily operation of the clean room. The position works second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, with a $1.00 shift differential. The employee performs cleaning, cleanliness testing, drying, inspection, packaging, and documentation for final assemblies, while following applicable safety and OSHA rules and using required personal protective equipment. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is expected. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, and talking and hearing.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

Clean final assemblies using alkaline cleaner.
Perform cleanliness testing using solvent.
Dry final assemblies using nitrogen and a vacuum oven.
Perform microscope and other forms of inspection.
Package final assemblies to preserve cleanliness.
Record and maintain test results and data in the computer system.
Verify and maintain the accuracy and completeness of routers and other applicable documents.
Follow required safety and OSHA rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
Maintain consistent, regular, and predictable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
