About The Position

The Classroom Trainer is responsible for training new employees to be productive in their positions, conducting orientations, and maintaining employee paperwork. This role also involves assisting the HR department, performing retraining, and issuing PPE. The trainer must be comfortable presenting to large audiences and possess strong communication skills. Flexibility in hours, including potential Saturdays, is required to cover different shifts.

Requirements

  • Must feel confident and comfortable in front of a large audience.
  • Flexible hours to be able to cover either shift as needed.
  • Flexible to work Saturdays if needed.
  • Spanish preferred not required.

  • Coordinate and facilitate orientation using alchemy system.

Responsibilities

  • Train employees to be productive in their new positions.
  • Take new employees through orientations.
  • Keep employee paperwork on all new hires.
  • Assist HR department as needed.
  • Perform training courses in Safety, Food Safety, Foreign Objects, HR Culture diversity, Ergonomics, Knife sharpening, Lockers, Health services, Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
  • Issue PPE to New Hires.
  • Perform annual retraining on all production employees.
  • Attend and give input at weekly group trainers meetings.
