About The Position

This position involves providing instructional assistance and support to students in assigned classrooms under the direction of teachers and the building principal. Responsibilities include following daily plans, preparing classrooms, assisting students, and performing other assigned duties. This is a non-benefit eligible position.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with students and staff
• Follow instructions provided by the teacher and supervisor
• Team oriented
• Ability to work in dynamic, diverse settings
• Willingness to adapt to specific or new working situations

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of college (48 hours) or Associate's Degree (or higher)
• Prior experience with school-aged children in an educational setting

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional assistance/support for students in assigned classroom(s) as directed by the teacher(s) and building principal
• Follow daily plans from supervising teacher(s)
• Make classroom preparations
• Assist students as directed
• Perform other duties as may be assigned
