About The Position

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Classroom & Event Support Specialist at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. This position delivers classroom readiness, audiovisual support, event coordination, and instructional environment support services for the Civilian Leadership Development School.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of classroom operations, training support, logistics, or event support experience.
Experience supporting audiovisual systems and virtual collaboration platforms.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment and furnishings up to approximately 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting federal or military training environments.
Experience coordinating conferences, ceremonies, or executive visits.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and VTC technologies.
Experience supporting hybrid learning environments.

Responsibilities

Configure classrooms and training spaces for resident and virtual instruction.
Conduct pre-event equipment checks and ensure classroom readiness.
Operate and troubleshoot projectors, microphones, VTC systems, and smart boards.
Support virtual training sessions by monitoring communications and managing online resources.
Coordinate classroom setup, teardown, and facility restoration activities.
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
Support Distinguished Visitor events, ceremonies, and special functions.
Coordinate venue reservations, logistics, parking, and event resources.
Prepare event materials and itineraries for government review.
Assist instructors and students during in-person and virtual training events.
