About The Position

GAMUT Behavioral Services is seeking motivated and passionate educators to work as Behavior Technicians supporting students in a school setting. Current or recent experience in special education, ABA, autism, childcare, or other roles supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidates. Positions are available throughout Delaware County, including for the ESY Program starting in June. School-Based ABA therapy applies a scientific understanding of how behavior works to real situations, aiming to increase helpful behaviors and decrease harmful or learning-affecting behaviors. In this model, each child receives one-on-one support from a trained Behavior Technician, who may also be referred to as a Special Education Classroom Aide, 1:1 Support, Behavior Interventionist, or Paraprofessional.
