RBT/Behavior Therapist
About The Position
Instructional ABA Consultants (IABA) is seeking Behavior Therapists to work with children with autism in Naperville, IL, and surrounding areas. This role offers meaningful work and valuable experience for individuals interested in psychology, education, or child development. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children, applying principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help them develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills. No prior ABA experience is necessary, as IABA provides comprehensive training and RBT certification support to help you get started and advance in the field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.)
- Interest in psychology, education, or related fields
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Work directly with children to implement individualized therapy plans created by a BCBA supervisor
- Track progress and collect session data
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision
- Help children build important life and communication skills
