This position involves working in conjunction with a Classroom Teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of children in a classroom setting. The role requires active participation in planning, implementing, and documenting various aspects of the child's learning and well-being, adhering to established curriculum standards, licensing mandates, and company policies. Key responsibilities include home visits, parent conferences, developmental assessments, individualized planning, guiding children's activities, maintaining the classroom environment, assisting with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs), communicating with families, and ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment. The role also involves participating in meal services, implementing positive guidance techniques, maintaining direct supervision of children, communicating with bus drivers, attending staff meetings and trainings, and performing other assigned duties.
