About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Classroom Aide to work with children ages 3–5 through Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in Rochester. The Classroom Aide works with the Center Based Special Education Teacher to support the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom, including organizing, implementing, and teaching developmental skills to students ages three to five. The position reports to the Special Education Teacher.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Scheduling follows the school calendar. The pay rate is $16.00–$17.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Early childhood experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Based Special Education Teacher with the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom.
• Organize classroom activities and materials.
• Implement and teach developmental skills to students ages three to five.
