Classroom Aide
About The Position
Liberty POST is seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Classroom Aide to work with children ages 3–5 in Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in Rochester. The Classroom Aide works with the Center Based Special Education Teacher to support the smooth and efficient operation of the classroom. This includes organizing, implementing, and teaching developmental skills to students ages three to five. The position reports to the Special Education Teacher. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and scheduling follows the school calendar. The stated pay rate is $16.00–$17.50 per hour. Liberty POST provides evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play, with an emphasis on children’s natural learning environments, families’ individual strengths and needs, and the diverse population it serves.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Early childhood experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
