CLASS Observer - Episcopal

Teachstone•Jacksonville, FL

About The Position

Teachstone is seeking qualified independent contractors to provide supplemental, project-based Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observations for its client ECS4Kids in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Assignments depend on project needs and contractor availability; there is no guaranteed minimum number of assignments, hours, compensation, or ongoing work. The engagement is limited to the specified project term and does not imply renewal or future work. Contractors may accept or decline offered assignments based on availability and project needs. Contractors may conduct CLASS observations, complete observation documentation and data entry, submit invoices, and provide other project-specific deliverables by agreed deadlines. They must follow applicable CLASS standards, client requirements, and quality assurance procedures, and communicate professionally with client site personnel. Project orientation and coordination cover client requirements, deliverables, platform access, administrative processes, and applicable CLASS standards. Contractors determine the manner and means of performing accepted assignments, subject to deliverable requirements, client site rules, and CLASS standards. They are responsible for their own tools, equipment, transportation, taxes, insurance, and ordinary business expenses, except for expenses approved for reimbursement in writing. Reliable internet and computer access and transportation to accepted observation locations are expected. Contractors may work for other clients if doing so does not conflict with accepted Teachstone assignments. With prior written approval, they may engage qualified subcontractors who meet applicable certification and project requirements. Compensation and any negotiated rates are set out in the applicable statement of work or contractor agreement. Contractors are not eligible for Teachstone employee benefits, and Teachstone does not withhold taxes from contractor payments.
