CLASS Observer - Episcopal

Teachstone•Augusta, GA

About The Position

Teachstone is seeking qualified independent contractors to provide supplemental, project-based Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observation services for ECS4Kids in Infant, Toddler, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Engagements depend on client project needs and contractor availability and are limited to the specified project term; there is no guarantee of assignments, hours, compensation, ongoing work, or renewal. Contractors may accept or decline offered assignments based on their availability, subject to project needs and deadlines. Contractors may conduct CLASS observations, complete observation documentation, enter data, submit invoices, and provide other project-specific deliverables. They must meet applicable CLASS certification, reliability, quality, client, and project requirements. Current CLASS certification and reliability for the applicable age level are preferred; where certification is required, it must be satisfied before services begin. Contractors are responsible for maintaining required credentials during the engagement. Contractors are responsible for determining how they perform accepted assignments, while meeting agreed deliverables, deadlines, client site rules, and CLASS standards. They must supply their own tools, equipment, transportation, taxes, insurance, and ordinary business expenses unless specific expenses are approved for reimbursement in writing. Reliable internet and computer access are expected. Contractors may serve other clients if doing so does not create a conflict of interest. With prior written approval, they may use qualified subcontractors who meet project requirements. Compensation for accepted assignments is set out in the applicable statement of work or contractor agreement and may be negotiated per project or assignment. Contractors are not eligible for Teachstone employee benefits, and Teachstone does not withhold taxes from contractor payments. An insurance certificate or other satisfaction of Teachstone’s insurance requirements may be required before services begin. Teachstone provides equal opportunity in its contractor engagement process.
