Class B Route Driver
About The Position
Safety-Kleen is hiring a Local Class B Route Driver in Nashville, Tennessee. The driver picks up waste oil and antifreeze from customer locations, including garages, automotive dealerships, quick-change oil companies, fleet maintenance facilities, bus companies, airports, and rental car companies. The role operates a Class B tanker on local routes, with 10–15 stops per day, and includes pumping out tanks and drums, collecting samples, and generating new leads at customer locations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the driver home nightly. The position offers an hourly wage of $25–$27 based on experience, plus commission, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Minimum Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Ability to operate manual 10-speed vehicles.
- Ability to use a handheld device (ELD).
- Strong customer service skills.
