Class B Driver
About The Position
MedTrans is Medline’s private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products to commercial and residential customers. Its fleet includes more than 2,100 trucks, and it operates a network of more than 50 distribution centers nationwide. The Class B Driver operates a Class B vehicle to deliver medical products to local customers, supporting positive customer relationships through timely, accurate, and safe deliveries. The role involves loading and securing products at a Medline facility, driving a delivery route to multiple customer destinations, unloading and delivering products, and providing in-person customer support and delivery documentation. Drivers coordinate with dispatch about route or schedule adjustments, maintain required travel and cargo logs, and inspect the vehicle for safe operation and adequate fuel. The anticipated pay range is $22.75–$33.00 per hour; actual pay varies based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Valid Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) for a Class B license, or a valid Class E license if required by the state.
- Must meet all federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
- Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Load and secure products from the Medline facility into a truck.
- Safely operate a Class B vehicle between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations, following safety regulations and using required safety equipment.
- Unload and deliver products at customer facilities in a timely manner.
- Provide in-person customer support, address questions and needs, and provide appropriate delivery documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch about route or schedule adjustments needed to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
- Inspect the vehicle to ensure it can be operated safely and has sufficient fuel.
