About The Position

The Distribution Driver Class B delivers products to customers, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and other locations statewide. The role includes inspecting, preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning the vehicle while following company safety procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. The driver also reviews standing orders, develops sales, processes payments, and maintains records.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment are required to pass a drug test. Additional hours may be required during October, November, December, and other peak periods. Work hours may be flexible and could include overnight, early morning, or late evening schedules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• A Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible hours, potentially including overnight, early morning, or late evening hours.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including potentially lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48 pounds.
• Must pass a drug test after receiving a conditional offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products statewide to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Receive payment for delivered goods.
• Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and courteously.
• Check in money and returned goods daily with the Driver Check-in & Accounting Cashier.
• Complete required daily paperwork, including the DOT logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
• Arrive at work in accordance with company uniform standards.
• Follow safety regulations and perform duties safely.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary transportation documents.
• Load and unload cargo while using safety equipment.
• Secure cargo in compliance with safety requirements.
• Report incidents to the dispatcher.
• Follow traffic laws.
• Keep the vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
