About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize their experience across the Baltimore, MD area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This is a full-time permanent role of 45-50 hours per week, offering job stability as an essential service to healthcare. The position is non-seasonal and stable, with opportunities for overtime and consistent work hours (M-F, 1st Shift, varying start and end times between 5 AM/8 AM to 3 PM/6 PM). A $3,000 new hire bonus is offered after successfully completing the probation period. The company is a healthcare service provider focused on safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and other healthcare industry customers, aiming to reduce needlestick injuries, improve infection control, and minimize environmental impact.

Requirements

Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
Proven longevity in past employment

Responsibilities

Delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA
Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations
Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
