About The Position

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining their team in Easton. They are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license with HAZ and experience driving large trucks to utilize their experience across the Easton, PA area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Daniels Health is a healthcare service company providing safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare industry. Their focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, improve infection control and reduce the environmental footprint of their customers. As a service to their customers, they dispose and treat medical waste at their treatment facilities across the U.S. This is a full-time permanent role of 45 hours per week, with consistent work hours (M-F, 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM) and opportunities for overtime.

Requirements

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD AND HAZ
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
