About The Position

As a Driver, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed safely and in a timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The role involves driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products, making an average of 6–8 stops per day. Routes are Monday through Friday with a 5 a.m. start time. Travel is required. The listed pay is $28.00 per hour, with a $6,000 sign-on bonus and benefits available on day one. Work environments may include a freezer at -20°F to 0°F, a perishable warehouse at 28°F to 60°F, and a store/grocery warehouse at 50°F to 90°F. Requirements

Class A Commercial Driver’s License, as stated under specialized knowledge.
DOT certification.
Valid Department of Transportation physical exam.
Recent tractor-trailer experience (1–2 years listed).

Responsibilities

Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
Make an average of 6–8 stops per day; pallets may consist of all types of products.
Maneuver the truck into loading or unloading positions.
Weigh the truck as needed en route or at vendors to document weight and comply with state and company regulations.
Complete electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations.
Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the truck’s condition.
Read bills of lading to determine assignments.
Complete assigned duties safely, promptly, and in accordance with DOT regulations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
