About The Position

Aetna Building Solutions is seeking a dependable, safety-driven CDL Class B Driver for local delivery routes in the Maywood, Illinois territory. This is a full-time, year-round, permanent position. Drivers deliver building materials to customers and are home daily, including weekends and holidays. The role involves operating and inspecting a commercial vehicle, securing and handling materials, documenting deliveries, communicating with customers and colleagues, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Clean driving record meeting DOT requirements.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with flatbed, curtain-side, or similar equipment.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to safety, reliability, and time management.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
• Must pass a background check, physical assessment, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Deliver building materials to customer locations across the local service area.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and properly secure loads.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer confirmations.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
