About The Position

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements. Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent
Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
Clean driving record
Able to read and write English
Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
Ability to communicate with customers

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies
Making deliveries to customers or other branches
Filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately
Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
Maintain electronic trip-logs
Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
Performs other duties as assigned
