About The Position
American Welding and Gas, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Tullahoma, TN. HazMat Endorsement is required or ability to obtain. This role involves inspecting and validating product labeling, securing, and documentation; providing product deliveries to customers and company locations; loading and unloading products; maintaining a compliant, clean, and orderly vehicle; ensuring vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled; ensuring compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies; ensuring appropriate preparation, completion, and accuracy of paperwork; maintaining electronic trip-logs; performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections; and achieving delivery objectives set forth by the manager. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Class B with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company administered road test
- High school diploma/GED
- Clean driving record 3+years
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - bilingual a plus+
- Must be comfortable using computers
- Excellent customer services skills
- HazMat Endorsement is required or ability to obtain

Responsibilities
- Inspection and validation that products on vehicle are properly labeled, secured and documented
- Provide product deliveries to customers and company locations using company provided vehicles
- Loading and unloading products at customers and company locations

- Ensures vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled

- Achieve delivery objectives set forth by the manager
