About The Position

American Driver offers a fully paid, structured road training program for new Class A license holders. This program focuses on hands-on experience with real freight and professional mentors, skipping simulators and classrooms. Your paycheck is protected from the first week as you transition to solo driving. The program includes mastering heavy tractor-trailer operation, ELD management, HOS regulations, DVIR inspections, and professional dispatch communication.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid, active Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a graduation certificate showing 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
• Must have a clean driving history with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a standard DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Learn alongside a mentor on regional routes for 4-6 weeks.
• Master heavy tractor-trailer operation.
• Learn ELD management.
• Understand and adhere to HOS regulations.
• Perform DVIR inspections.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch.
• Transition to solo driving upon demonstrating readiness.
