Class A Truck Driver - Paid Training for Entry Level
About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers in the Fort Pierce, FL area for OTR routes. This position offers a personally assigned truck, 100% no-touch dry van freight, and a predictable home-time schedule. Both new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are welcome to apply. The equipment includes 2024 and newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia trucks with automatic transmissions. Drivers will have their own truck, with no slip seating, and can take it home during scheduled days off. The freight is exclusively 100% no-touch dry van. The schedule involves 14 days out with 2 full days at home. Pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,600 average weekly gross after training, with the top 25% of drivers averaging up to $1,800 per week gross. Pay is based on CPM, miles driven, and performance, with direct deposit every week. Orientation pay is $300, with transportation covered. New CDL-A holders will participate in a 3 to 5 week mentorship program averaging $850/week gross, involving about 200 to 250 hours of hands-on experience. Experienced drivers may move directly into solo operations if they meet the requirements. Hiring is open in eligible areas around Fort Pierce, FL.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Solid driving record and work history
- Pass DOT drug test and background check
- Meet all applicable DOT and company requirements
- At least 6 months verifiable solo driving time (for experienced drivers; mentor/trainer time does not count)
- 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school (for new CDL-A holders)
- Completion of the company training program (for new CDL-A holders)
