Class A Truck Driver
About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers in the Fort Pierce, FL area for OTR routes. This position offers a personally assigned truck, 100% no-touch dry van freight, and a predictable home-time schedule. Both new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are welcome to apply. Drivers will operate 2024 and newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia trucks with automatic transmissions. The schedule is 14 days out with 2 full days at home. Pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,600 average weekly gross after training, with top drivers averaging up to $1,800 per week. New CDL-A holders will participate in a 3 to 5 week mentorship program, while experienced drivers can move directly into solo operations if requirements are met. Orientation pay is $300, and transportation to orientation is covered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Solid driving record and work history
- Pass DOT drug test and background check
- Meet all applicable DOT and company requirements
- Experienced drivers: at least 6 months verifiable solo driving time; mentor/trainer time doesn't count
- New CDL-A holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school, plus completion of the company training program
- 21 years or older
