About The Position

The Class A Maintenance Mechanic performs troubleshooting and repairs on plant equipment and systems. The successful candidate must have multi-trade skills involving mechanical and electrical systems, programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, machine shop operations, and welding. Experience with corrugating and converting equipment is a plus. This is an hourly, full-time role scheduled from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed. The hourly rate is $30.50, with a shift differential. The hiring process includes a pre-employment aptitude test and a team interview. The role is based at International Paper’s Lancaster Solid Fiber facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
Multi-trade skills in mechanical and electrical systems, programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, machine shop operations, and welding.
Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Successful completion of a pre-employment aptitude test and team interview.
