About The Position
Intonu, a leading metals recycling company in the Southeastern United States, is seeking a Class A Local Driver for its Atlanta location. The company participates in E-Verify and requires all DOT requirements to be met. This position offers competitive pay, home nights and weekends, and various bonuses and benefits.
Requirements
- Class A CDL driver.
- Minimum of 2 years driving tractor trailer.
- Heavy hauling experience
- Clean MVR, PSP and Clearinghouse
- All DOT requirements
Responsibilities
- Accepts dispatch and safely drives loads to accomplish deliveries.
- Abide by all state and local DOT commercial driver regulations.
- Abide by all instructions outlined in truck and trailer operation manuals.
- Perform visual pre trip and post trip inspections as described by approved dot checklists on trucks and related trailers.
- Follow all procedures specific to Intonu transportation department.
- Must be on time to work.
- Courteous to customer.
- Ensure all safety measures are taken while at the company site, customers site and on the road
- Must be able to operate electronic devices, text, email, ELD, DVIRS all electronically using CyntrX
- Other job duties as assigned
