About The Position

The Class A Driver safely operates a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles and delivers goods to customer locations, locally and over long distances. Drivers conduct vehicle inspections, comply with traffic laws, safety rules, company policies, DOT regulations, and ELD requirements, and maintain accurate logs and paperwork. The role includes loading and unloading cargo, securing items, providing customer service during deliveries, and reporting vehicle maintenance issues to management. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday with a 4:30 a.m. start time, at $32.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record based on fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform loading and unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver goods safely and on time to local and long-distance customer locations.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork on time.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain the vehicle and report issues to management immediately.
