About The Position

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our Sacramento distribution team. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer for regional routes, including local routes and overnight layovers. The ideal candidate is a safe, reliable driver who values being home on weekends and working within a supportive team environment. The company has been delivering pet food since 1938 and emphasizes a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of experience
• Clean driving record (no accidents in the last 3 years)
• DOT/FMCSA/OSHA compliance
• Clean clearinghouse
• Ability to lift and move products
• Willingness for occasional overnight layovers

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer for deliveries and pickups
• Unload products using manual/electric jacks or by hand
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Handle returns and maintain delivery documentation
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Keep your truck and equipment in top shape
