About The Position
Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Santa Fe Springs, California. The position offers a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule, weekends off, and availability for one overnight layover, with a hotel provided. Compensation is $28.00 per hour, plus safety and pallet return bonuses. The role involves delivering pet food and supplies and transporting equipment and vendor products while following safety practices and maintaining required documentation and certifications.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to pass FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
- Strong driving record.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Flexibility with scheduling.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pet food and supplies using 40–48 ft. tractor-trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks or two-wheel dollies.
- Move and stage trailers safely in and out of bay doors.
- Transport equipment to vendors and repair facilities.
- Deliver vendor-supplied products.
- Complete daily logs and required documentation.
- Protect company equipment and maintain required certifications.
- Contribute to a strong, safety-first culture.
