About The Position
This is a local day cab slip seat operation running out of the Colton Yard located at 2250 Riverside Ave, Colton, CA. This position covers the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County with consistent multi-stop routes averaging 1,700 weekly miles and 1–2 stops per day of 100% no-touch freight. Drivers must provide reliable daily transportation since trucks cannot be taken home.
Requirements
- Class A driver's license.
- 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months with a maximum of 2 jobs in the past year, OR 3 months of experience in the last 12 months (or equivalent 10-year road history).
- Must provide reliable daily transportation.
- Pass pre-employment DOT screening (hair follicle and urine drug test).
Responsibilities
- Drive a tractor-trailer combination.
- Complete multi-stop routes averaging 1,700 weekly miles.
- Handle 1-2 stops per day of 100% no-touch freight.
- Operate a day cab slip seat truck.
