Requirements

Experience operating a semi with trailer and forklift safely.
Knowledge of Security regulations (ATF, DSS, Homeland Security)
Ability to work independently.
Strong math skills.
Effective communication skills.
High School and/or equivalent.
3 years minimum experience
Forklift
Hazardous Materials Endorsement, Class A-CDL
Minimal reading comprehension 6th grade level required

Responsibilities

Checks truck for proper operating condition, recommends necessary repairs, and may make minor adjustments.
May supervise a small crew of laborers.
Performs necessary functions to receive, move, store and outship material in an efficient and safe manner.
Responsible for onsite transportation of hazardous waste.
Picks orders for line support and shipments.
Check or count freight for accuracey and/or damage
Assembles various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Performs necessary inventory functions as required and responsible to insure accurate counts on storage items
