About The Position

This position is designed for new Class A CDL graduates with limited recent carrier experience. The role offers a comprehensive training and onboarding process, including paid orientation and on-the-road mentorship. Upon completion of training, drivers will upgrade to full solo status with their own assigned truck and will be part of a high-volume dry van freight operation with steady, year-round miles across all 48 states. The company offers a competitive compensation structure with significant pay increases after 90 days and one year, along with additional benefits such as breakdown pay, a passenger policy, and regular home time.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Class A CDL obtained within the past 12 months.
• Limited recent carrier experience (no more than 3 months with any other carrier).
• Must meet all DOT safety, background, and drug & alcohol requirements.
• Must live within 90 miles of Kansas City.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid orientation in Springdale, AR, with travel and hotel accommodations provided.
• Undergo a minimum of 10 days of hands-on OTR training with an experienced driver mentor.
• Upgrade to full solo status with an assigned truck after final testing.
• Drive high-volume dry van freight across all 48 states.
• Adhere to all DOT safety, background, and drug & alcohol requirements.
• Utilize the passenger policy once upgraded to solo status.
• Maintain regular home time, being home every 7-10 days.
