Class A CDL Regional Driver
About The Position
We’re seeking reliable Class A CDL drivers for regional intermodal routes across Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Drivers transport freight in containers and chassis, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading or unloading. Expect consistent miles and opportunities for higher mileage based on availability and performance. Drivers are expected to run at least 1,800 miles per week; top drivers may run up to 2,800 miles with 48 hours off. Freight is approximately 75% drop-and-hook and 25% live load/unload, consisting mostly of container freight with a small percentage of refrigerated freight. Drivers operate automatic mid-roof sleeper tractors. Drivers within 50 miles of the Chicago terminal must park trucks at the account. Training lasts 1–2 weeks, with hotel accommodations provided.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities

- Transport freight in containers and chassis.
- Perform drop-and-hook and live loading or unloading.
- Operate automatic mid-roof sleeper tractors.
- Meet the minimum expectation of 1,800 miles per week; higher mileage may be available based on availability and performance.
- Park the truck at the account if located within 50 miles of the Chicago terminal.
