Class A CDL Regional Driver
About The Position
We’re seeking dependable Class A CDL drivers for regional deliveries throughout Utah, Idaho, and Montana. Drivers begin the week with a backhaul to Salt Lake City before delivering retail freight using dry van trailers. This is a no-touch freight position with mostly drop-and-hook loads and some live loading or unloading. Drivers will operate in mountain terrain and winter weather, requiring chaining when conditions dictate. Assigned automatic sleeper trucks are provided, and drivers can take the truck home if they provide a safe, management-approved parking location. Onboarding will take place in Salt Lake City with hotel accommodations provided, after which drivers will return to Boise with their assigned truck. Drivers may also be asked to assist other accounts as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to drive safely in mountains and winter conditions
Responsibilities
- Deliver freight weighing 80,000–105,500 lbs.
- Operate in mountain terrain and winter weather; chaining required when conditions dictate.
- Drive assigned automatic sleeper trucks.
- Take the truck home and provide a safe, management-approved parking location.
- Attend onboarding in Salt Lake City, with hotel accommodations provided; return to Boise with your assigned truck afterward.
- Assist other accounts as needed.
