About The Position

Seeking a highly motivated, professional Class A CDL driver for a company-owned truck position based at the Venice, Florida terminal. This is a full-time, W-2 company-driver role involving over-the-road, nationwide routes. Drivers typically spend two weeks to 16 days on the road, with the option to stay out longer. Routes run between the Southeast and Northwest; routes do not include the Northeast states. Compensation is calculated per mile for all odometer/GPS miles, loaded and empty. The stated average weekly gross is approximately $2,000–$2,500, depending on experience. Additional compensation may include extra-stop pay, other bonuses, per diem, and bonuses for clean inspections or exceptional work. Pay is directly deposited after the completed round trip and return to the terminal, with a detailed pay report provided. The company offers professional dispatch support, flexible home time, ample vacation time, straightforward paperwork, newer equipment, and a fuel card and cash advance for over-the-road expenses. Approximately 90% of loads are no-touch. Driver-assist work, when required, is paid extra. Health insurance and PTO are currently unavailable. No mandatory vaccines are required. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Current DOT physical.
At least 2 years of experience.
Experience pulling a 53-foot dry van or refrigerated trailer.
No DOT-record or preventable accidents in the past 12 months.
No major violations in the past 36 months, including reckless driving or careless endangerment.
No more than 3 minor violations in the past 3 years, and no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month period.
No DUI in the past 60 months.
Overall safe driving record.
Must have a TWIC card or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
No positive drug or alcohol tests.
Must speak English.
Automatically ineligible: vehicular homicide; an alcohol- or drug-related offense in a commercial vehicle; hit and run; theft of a motor vehicle; invalid CDL; driving while a license is revoked; or 3 or more chargeable accidents in the past 3 years.
