About The Position

This is a dedicated grocery lane position for a Class A CDL driver. Drivers will operate a day cab slip seat tractor trailer, working a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule with two consecutive days off during the week. Shifts are night shifts, starting between 3pm and 9pm. The work involves drop and hook, live load/unload, and no-touch freight. The primary location is the Shafter Distribution Center, with deliveries throughout CA and NV. Loads can range from 1 to 5 stops, potentially with a backhaul to the distribution center. Compensation includes mileage band pay, stop pay, detention pay, and a safe & on-time bonus, with a weekly average of $1280-$1600+.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• No incidents within the past year.
• CDL address must match hiring area.
• 3 months of 53' Tractor Trailer Experience within the last year.
• No Sap Drivers.
• Must pass a Hair Follicle Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a day cab slip seat tractor trailer.
• Perform drop and hook.

• Make deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV.
• Complete loads with 1 to 5 stops.
• Potentially complete a backhaul back into the distribution center.
