About The Position
The Class A CDL Driver safely operates the company’s tractor/trailer fleet and distributes products as dispatched in the most efficient manner. The role includes conducting required DOT pre- and post-trip truck and trailer inspections, completing DVIRs, assisting with loading and unloading steel and other supplies, and providing professional customer service. The position may involve day and overnight domicile driving.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Current medical card.
- Meet all NIM and DOT employment qualifications.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform the job.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the company’s tractor/trailer fleet.
- Distribute products as dispatched in the most efficient manner.
- Perform required DOT pre- and post-trip truck and trailer inspections.
- Complete DVIRs for pre- and post-trip inspections and driving.
- Assist with loading and unloading steel and other supplies.
- Provide customer service in a professional manner.
