About The Position

The Class A CDL Driver operates an F-450 truck with a gooseneck trailer to transport trench safety equipment between branch and client locations safely and legally. The role ensures equipment pickups and deliveries are handled efficiently, safely, accurately, and on time. The driver is also responsible for maintaining the vehicle inside and out.

Requirements

• Hold a Class A CDL.
• Pass a DOT physical and all required drug and alcohol screenings.
• Have at least one year of commercial truck driving experience.
• Maintain a clean driving record for insurance coverage purposes.
• Be willing to work overtime.
• Have a basic understanding of truck maintenance concepts.

• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment using forklifts and deliver it between branch and client locations.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and branch departments to meet and exceed customer expectations for rental equipment delivery.
• Complete service tickets, timesheets, and other work documentation accurately, completely, and on time.
• Submit required DOT inspections, logs, and documentation to branch management as required by law.
• Promote safety by performing all work and driving in the safest manner.
• Maintain the truck’s appearance and maintenance, and communicate vehicle deficiencies to branch management.
• Maintain job-related training as required.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
