About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for its Scaffold Division, based in Elkridge, Maryland. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL, an acceptable driving record, and an active DOT Medical Card.
Experience operating commercial vehicles with flatbed trailers and using truck-mounted forklifts for job-site deliveries and pick-ups.
Background in or comfort with heavy physical labor and material handling on active construction sites.
Knowledge of major and minor roadways in and around Elkridge, Maryland, and the greater Maryland area.
Ability to safely maneuver commercial vehicles and operate truck-mounted forklifts in high-traffic or tight construction zones.
Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment or vehicles when needed.
Strong safety awareness and customer service attitude.
Ability to regularly lift more than 50 pounds and bend, squat, climb, crouch, and reach, and to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on active job sites.

Responsibilities

Deliver scaffolding equipment and materials to local job sites and pick up materials from sites in Elkridge, Maryland, and surrounding regions.

Secure, load, unload, and stage scaffolding gear at job sites.
