About The Position

Major Carrier Nationwide Fleet is seeking Class A CDL Drivers for long-haul OTR (Over-the-Road) reefer positions. We offer competitive pay structures for both company drivers and owner-operators, with opportunities for lease purchase. Drivers will haul general commodities and protein, including boxed beef, chicken, pork, and beer, across all 48 states. The role emphasizes no-touch freight and drop-and-hook opportunities. We accommodate drivers with varying levels of experience, including those with less than a year of OTR experience who will ride with a lead driver for the first three weeks. Sap friendly drivers must be on or past Step 6.

Requirements

Class A CDL.
CDL Address must match hiring area.
Minimum 3 months of 53' tractor-trailer OTR experience in the last 6 months, OR 6 months of experience in the last year (excluding school, straight truck, garbage truck, or dump truck experience).
Sap friendly drivers must be on or past Step 6.
For lease purchase, truck must be 10 years or newer and have all paperwork, or opt for lease purchase.
For company drivers, must be able to drive day or night.
Recent safe driving years without at-fault accidents, major incidents, citations, or violations are considered for pay rate.

Nice To Haves

Less than 1 year of OTR experience will ride first 3 weeks with a lead driver at $150 per day.

Responsibilities

Drive a 53' tractor-trailer nationwide across all 48 states.
Haul refrigerated freight including general commodities and protein (boxed beef, chicken, pork, beer).
Adhere to a schedule of 3-4 weeks out with 5 days home per month for company drivers.
Operate a Kenworth T680 with automatic transmission, walk-in condo, APU, inverter, and voice navigation.
Perform drop-and-hook and no-touch freight operations.
For owner-operators, maximize business earning potential through a percentage-based pay structure and receive 100% of fuel surcharges.
For lease purchase, make weekly payments for a new Kenworth T680.

Benefits

Weekly Gross for Owner Operators: $2500-$6000
Lease Purchase Options: 2022-2024 Kenworth T680 with $750-$800 weekly payments, .07-.08cpm, and a 260-week buyout.
Company Driver Pay Rate: .40-.65 cpm based on experience.
Company Driver Miles: 2300-2500+ miles per week.
Company Driver Weekly Average: $1000-$1625+
Paid on all miles.
