About The Position

We are seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused Class A CDL Delivery Driver to operate delivery vehicles and truck-trailer combinations and transport materials to customer locations safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The role involves delivering materials to customer job sites and facilities, handling and securing products, assisting customers, and maintaining required delivery and DOT documentation. Drivers also perform vehicle inspections, handle customer returns, and use forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The position works in warehouse, yard, and customer job-site environments, with frequent driving and outdoor work. Employees may encounter varying weather and temperatures, dust, noise, moving mechanical equipment, and industrial material-handling environments. Physical tasks include frequently lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 200 pounds with assistance, and lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, climbing, and maneuvering loads. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience.
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within five (5) days of request.
Fewer than five (5) moving violations within the last five (5) years.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Frequently lift and carry up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 200 pounds with assistance.
Ability to perform lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs, safely operate commercial vehicles throughout the workday, and maneuver and secure loads.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of CDL driving experience.
Experience delivering construction, building materials, or industrial products.
Forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver materials to customer job sites and facilities.
Load, secure, transport, and unload products while protecting cargo from damage.
Verify delivery orders, quantities, and materials for accuracy before and during deliveries.
Assist customers with unloading materials and provide professional, courteous service.
Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Complete Hours of Service (HOS), Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), and other DOT-required records using handheld devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Pick up customer returns and complete required paperwork when needed.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load and unload materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally presented vehicle.
Follow all company, DOT, and safety regulations.
