About The Position

The Class 3/1 Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, septic service, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Requirements

Valid Class 3A or 1A Commercial Driver's License and a fairly clean Commercial Drivers Abstract.
Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

Vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience is an asset.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform physical duties assigned.

Responsibilities

Operate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting.
Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL.
Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.
Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
Participate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments.
Other duties as assigned.
