Class 1 Owner Operator for flatbed in L'Assomption
About The Position
We are seeking a Class 1 Owner Operator for flatbed operations based in L'Assomption. The role involves parking your tractor in L’Assomption, with start times between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, Monday to Friday. A mandatory Android phone is required for the Fortigo app, which will be used for daily assignments and updates. Deliveries will be made in Quebec and the Ottawa region using flatbed and enclosed trailers, with a focus on handling plastic coils. Daily tasks include load securement, updating the Fortigo application, managing documentation, and communicating with the client's dispatcher. You will also be required to drive Fortigo's 32-foot flatbed straight trucks.
Requirements
- Clean driving record and criminal investigation are mandatory.
- Class 1 license.
- 2 years of experience including one year on flatbed.
- Able to throw the straps on an 8-foot-high load.
- 2017 or newer tractor registered IRP.
- French is mandatory.
- Must possess an Android phone.

Responsibilities
