About The Position

XTL Transport is seeking experienced Class 1 Long-Haul Drivers for US/Canada routes to join their Airdrie team. This role offers consistent, year-round work with dedicated customers, weekly pay, and automatic annual wage increases for the first five years. Drivers will operate new trucks and have access to flexible options, including regional loads.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 license.
  • Minimum 2 years of long-haul experience, including 2 consecutive winters, traveling across Canada and/or the US.
  • At least 1 year of US cross-border experience (included in the 2 years above).
  • Must live in the Calgary/Airdrie area.
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak) - US Mandate.
  • Willing to travel across Canada & U.S. for 5-7 days.
  • Clean abstract (zero moving violations, such as Speeding <5 demerits).
  • Reefer experience required.
  • FAST CARDS are required (XTL will help with obtaining them for new employees).

  • TDG experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Class 1 long-haul trucks across the US and Canada.
  • Travel for 5-7 days at a time, focusing on the Mid-West and West Coast in Canada and USA, with occasional trips East.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and vehicle.
  • Utilize reefer equipment for temperature-sensitive cargo.
  • Obtain and maintain FAST cards.
  • Participate in paid orientation and in-cab training.
