About The Position

As a global seafood company, Cooke has operations in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. As a result of our robust growth we are looking for experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers for designated routes throughout Canada / USA to join our team of driving professionals with Shoreland Transport Inc., a division of Cooke. Shoreland is based out of Woodstock, NB however, the candidate must be willing to operate throughout Canada and the US as required. We run from NB/NS/PEI into the Eastern Seaboard, reloading for Ontario or Montreal, before returning East. This position will appeal to reliable, self-motivated team players with a strong work ethic and the availability to work flexible hours.

Requirements

  • A valid Class 1 E driver’s license
  • A clean driving abstract
  • Certificate from a driver’s training school
  • An excellent safety record
  • Efficient, reliable, professional customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Class 1 license
  • Criminal background check
  • Current drivers abstract
  • Verifiable driving experience
  • Strong communication skills – written and spoken
  • USA capable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with refrigerated transportation equipment would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate throughout Canada and the US as required.
